TEATRO EN INGLÉS

El martes 3 de diciembre los alumnos de 6º 6ª deleitaron a distintos cursos y varios docentes con sus escenas en Inglés coordinados por la Prof. Marcela Ríos y el Prof. Esteban Ríos, el dúo dinámico.

     La interpretación y la claridad en la pronunciación del idioma extranjero hicieron posible que todos los presentes pudieran entender claramente la problemática tratada en cada escena.

ALUMNOS Y DOCENTES CONCURRIERON AL TEATRO PARA VER "BILLY, THE KID" EN INGLÉS

El lunes 23 de septiembre alumnos de distintos cursos disfrutaron de la obra de teatro “Billy the Kid” en inglés.

Docentes de diferentes escuelas públicas planificaron esta salida en conjunto para que los estudiantes pudieran disfrutar de un día de recreación y ampliar sus conocimientos del idioma en un contexto diferente.

  El año pasado, 6to 1ra y 5to 3ra 2012, acompañados por las docentes de inglés Sabrina Sittner y Analía Bortolín, y los profesores Jorge Olas, Sandra Flores y Leandro Chazarreta, fueron al teatro Stella Maris en San Isidro para ver “Marco Polo”. Fue una salida muy positiva, los alumnos disfrutaron de la obra y trabajaron con el idioma desde otra perspectiva.

    Este año, surgió la idea de solicitar permiso al Consejo Escolar y a la Municipalidad de Malvinas Argentinas de utilizar el salón auditorio del edificio para que la compañía de teatro realizara la obra. Era necesario reunir una cantidad de doscientos cincuenta alumnos para que “The Stage Company” se trasladara hasta nuestro distrito.

     Fue así que alumnos de 3ro 1ra, 2do 2da de la EEST Nº 3 y alumnos de 2do 5ta y 5to 3ra de la EES Nº 7 incentivados por sus docentes de inglés Analía Bortolín, Sabrina Sittner, María Elena Dibiagio y Cristian Herrera y acompañados, además, por Héctor Valdez, Liliana Müller, Ernesto Martinez y Alfredo Dotto,  participaron de la salida junto con alumnos y docentes de otras instituciones de Malvinas y San Miguel. 

   Se realizaron actividades de recreación previas a la obra de teatro en el predio del Palacio Municipal. A las 14 hs. comenzó “Billy the Kid”.

   Todos los alumnos, aún aquellos con pocas expectativas de entender la historia completa, disfrutaron de la obra en todo momento y comprobaron que, a través de actividades previas de comprensión, sus conocimientos del idioma y el talentoso trabajo de los actores, fue posible comprender y disfrutar plenamente de la obra.

    Fue una experiencia diferente, en donde alumnos y docentes quedaron muy conformes y contentos con la salida y esperan poder repetirla en los años siguientes.

A GOOD PLACE FOR A HOLIDAY

Two students recommend places to visit in Argentina.

Mendoza

I went to Mendoza in July 2008 with my family. We went by car.

First, we stayed in a big hotel for three days and then we stayed in a house near the mountains. The place was called “Las Leñas”. We were there for ten days. My sister and I rode horses there. Them, we climbed mountains. It was very funny and exhausting to do it. On the top of the mountains we saw the snow.

Before the trip, we went to a winery and we bought some boxes of wine.

I recommend it because this place is very relaxing and very interesting because it has a lot of places to visit.

Córdoba

I went to Córdoba in February 2010 with my sister, my mother and my aunt. We went by coach.

We stayed in my aunt’s house. It was very big. We were there for ten days. We went to the river every day until eight o’ clock. Then we went to other villages and walked in the streets. We saw some rivers, beautiful houses, high mountains and beautiful villages.

We bought some bracelets with snail shells, some boxes of alfajores and a painting.

I recommend it because it was a beautiful place where you could do different activities.

Furthermore, the weather was excellent.

SCHOOLS AND EDUCATION IN ARGENTINA

What does education mean? When we talk about this in our country, what can we see? Is it good or bad? Is it better or worse than in other places? When somebody talks about schools and education in Argentina there are two positions that are maintained.
On the one hand we can say that in Argentina most of the people can appeal to education. Most of children can go to school to learn, they have possibilities and elderly people that haven't finished school can too. And not all are public schools, but we have some that are really very good.
On the other hand we have that in schools we can find problems like: They are not equipped with all necessary materials so people can't learn correctly, or problems with the government so teachers decide to go on strikes and because of that students can't keep up with the salaries, and it isn't good for anybody because students are the country's future.
I'm convinced that schools and education in Argentina aren't bad, but there are some troubles that we have to fix and we can't do it alone, we need to have help from everybody, especially the government.
